For auction is a 1968 Tudor Submariner Ref. 7016/0 Semi-pointed crown guard SPCG transitional small rose dial caliber 2483 40mm nice patina. The Good: 1. A rare watch: the 7016/0 early examples (1/68) had semi-pointed crown guard cases and were basically a continuation of the last of the ref 7928's; the dial is the same as the last of the 7928's but the case is unique. 2. Shows wear but isn't polished to death and has a lovely patina on the very nice dial and a purplish hue to the faded bezel. 3. Recently serviced and working well, amplitude +245 and -5 seconds per day. The Bad: 1. It is a watch head only though its mounted on a gorgeous gray strap. 2. Shows its years of wear throughout but overall effect is warm and attractive.

Condition: 82% (8.2 of 10): case shows its years of wear but is worn from wear not from overpolishing, very nice dial, working and functioning correctly
