For auction is a 1972 Rolex Datejust 18k Yellow Gold linen dial on 18k Japan bracelet caliber 1575 rare watch rare condition. The Good: 1. The watch head is really in 10 out 10 collector grade shape; it is covered in gold Patina which indicates that the watch was in storage a long time. It is unpolished with full case meat and really lusty shape. 2. The Japan market bracelet is pretty large and will fit up to a 7.75" wrist. The color on the bracelet is quite different than the watch head due to the heavy gold patina on the watch itself. These gold bracelets were made for customers as the watches themselves shipped without bracelets because of tariffs. The Japan bracelets have much more variability that the USA or Mexico bracelets as I believe they were made by each individual dealer; every one I've had is a bit different. The overall condition is lightly worn; one link had come out and was put back in; links can be removed but it would need to go to a watchmaker to do so as it isn't screwed links. 3. Dial is A+ perfect. Super lovely condition no luminous dial, the markers are applied 18k gold and black lacquer as are the hands. 4. Working and functioning correctly. The Bad: Nothing really, a very very nice watch. The Japan bracelet is not as substantial as the Rolex bracelet but its still nice and gives the right effect that one would want out of an 18k Rolex on a bracelet.

Condition: 87% (8.7 of 10): really excellent watch head, Japan bracelet is long and doesn't have much wear, working and functioning correctly
