For auction is a 2005 Panerai Luminor Marina Militare PAM00217 limited edition 47mm Destro (lefty) caliber OP XI sandwich dial 1950 case watch only. The Good: 1. A rare watch that at one time was kind of 'the ultimate Panerai'. 2. The combination of features makes it an extremely desirable piece: Marina Militare dial text, sandwich dial, gold hands, lefty case, 1950 case, no fauxtina (the brands weren't yet obsessed with that in 2005). 3. Least expensive 217 on the market. 4. Running well, amplitude +298. The bad: 1. Case shows wear. 2. Watch only no gigantic box and papers. 3. Strap is really worn and it can use a new strap.
