Doxa Sub 300T Professional 1960s Ref. 11899-4 Aqualung 42mm Original BoR Orange
DOXAFor auction is a 1960's Doxa 300T Ref 11899-4 Aqua Lung Orange 300 meter automatic on expandro bracelet 43mm tritium decompression bezel. The Good: 1. An early example of one of the most iconic dive watches of all time. 2. Overall very nice condition, dial is vibrant and patina is excellent. 3. On the rarely seen beads of rice expandro signed bracelet. 4. Recently serviced and working well, amplitude +271 and -2 seconds per day. 5. The Aqualung 300T is rarely seen nowadays. The Bad: 1. Only that there is light spider webbing around the 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock markers that is visible under macro lights but not really visible in normal daylight when worn. 2. Also very very difficult to see there is the slightest bit of bubbling on the lacquer; cannot be seen in most lights and very hard to capture in photographs. Fundamentally neither dial issue does much to take away from how nice the watch is in person.
