For auction is a 1950s Vacheron Constantin Ref 4518 18k yellow gold jumbo stepped square case very rare reference 31mm caliber 453. The Good: 1. Excellent condition case and original dial. 2. Large sized caliber to go with the large sized case; 31mm in a square size is more like a 36mm in a round. 3. Gorgeous pyramid markers at 9 and 3 o'clock on the nicely preserved dial; this reference is generally rare and that much more with an original dial. 4. Working well with amplitude of +220 and a rate of +.4 seconds. The Bad: 1. Dial shows a coupld of minor discoloration spots near the 3 o'clock marker (but truly minor, this is certainly a nice original dial)
