Rolex Submariner 1680 Red Mk 2 Meters First 1970 Ghost Bezel Great Patina 40mm
Rolex

For auction is a 1970 Rolex Submariner 1680 Mark 2 Red Meters First caliber 1575 automatic COSC 40mm ghost bezel. The Good: 1. Very very nice dial: lovely creamy patina, even and matched, and clean condition. As nice as a MK2 dial as can be found out there. 2. Working and functioning correctly, amplitude +240 and -9 seconds per day. 3. Bezel is light and ghosty and really adds to the look. The Bad: 1. The clasp and attaching link of the bracelet is 6248-19 with one screwed link attaching to what is otherwise a very nice 9315 with 380 end links. It works fine as it is and if someone wanted it wouldn't be hard to get the right clasp. It is overall pretty minor and doesn't affect value much; the dial is great and that is really what matters. Overall the best priced meters first red sub in the market and a great looking piece.
