For auction is a 1950's Patek Philippe Ref 2460 18k rose gold center seconds caliber 27SC. The Good: 1. This is a particularly rare reference in general and all the more so in rose gold. 2. It is a hard thing to understand with vintage Patek but the factors affecting value are: 1. Condition 2. Reference 3. Metal and a distant 4. Size. This is a very impactful 32mm; for starters it doesn't feel like 32mm on the wrist (the true magic of vintage Patek). But also its an important reference in a rare metal in impeccable condition. 3. Running well, amplitude +257 and +10 seconds per day. 4. Dial is spectacular; even in searching the auction record I don't think a nicer dial can be found on a 2460. 5.
