For auction is a rare 1950's Jaeger-LeCoultre Futurematic ref E501 European market 37mm automatic stainless steel original Fab Suisse dial caliber 497. The Good: 1. Working and functioning well, amplitude +288 and -7 seconds per day. 2. Fab Suisse (Swiss Market) original dial with medium patina. 3. One of the true great 1950's watches, with a very modern futuristic classic 1950's feeling. And the watch that almost put JLC out of business; a fascinating and important reference. The Bad: 1. Only the patina dial.
